i dont give a flying f*ck about NYC.

and as far as shockey getting killed by the national media for his actions, what actions are yall speaking of? im talking about his on-field actions. i dont know chit about dudes personal life and dont care.

they praised dude for all his on-field antics. the same exact antics that they criticize black players for.

now if there was previously some confusion concerning what i said earlier, i'll give yall a pass. but if yall cant see what im saying at this point, youre either stupid or a delusional white bul or a tap-dancing c00n.

Yeah but he isn't labeled as a player with character or off the field "issues".

What issues would these be?

He hasn't gotten into trouble.

Last summer :beli: told him to cut the shyt out and he stopped going out.

Plenty of athletes go out a lot and Gronk is probably in the media the most despite never being in trouble.

He is actually more of a liability to a team than T.O. because he is one drunken night away from a date rape charge.

Couldn't the same be said about any other athlete that goes out?

So all black players who were labeled with off the field issues have been in legal trouble? :leon: And please why do you think ESPN did a story on Gronk, he has a reputation for going hard body and doing dumb shyt.

i look stupid but youre the one saying "race biting".

:hmm:

why are you so mad? in here cursing up a storm and getting disrespectful behind the safety of a computer screen. obviously i struck a nerve. mustve rekindled memories of you being shunned as a cornball brother in your real life.

i didnt backtrack chit. if that was a photoshoot, then so be it. i was wrong about that ONE example, and took the L. thats not backtracking.

as far as new york media goes, i dont know about that and dont care. local media criticizes just about everybody. i was referring to the national media and what i saw & heard with my own eyes. i could give a f**k about new york.

Breh, just take your L and move along:heh:

Just do a little research before you launch an attack:pachaha:

Thanks for the laughs though.:youngsabo:

Of course you don't. Why would you care about the country's media capital in a thread you started about media bias? :aicmon:

and as far as shockey getting killed by the national media for his actions, what actions are yall speaking of?

Calling Bill Parcells a homo

Getting into a shouting match with the GM

Not going to the White House

Staying in the locker room while the rest of the team was doing drills at camp

Said during a press conference that the team got outcoached.

Complained about his role in the offense.

I'm sure cats from NY can give more examples.

they praised dude for all his on-field antics. the same exact antics that they criticize black players for.

The media said Shockey being hurt played a big role in the Giants winning it all that year. :beli:

STEP OFF SUCKA.

if i took an L, i wouldve proudly claimed it. only thing i was wrong about was the photo-shoot comment and i admitted i was wrong right away.

all you di*kheads are doing is dodging MY ACTUAL COMMENTS CONCERNING JEREMY SHOCKEY. nobody wants to acknowledge or address that for some reason, despite the fact that it makes up half the thread's premise.

so go take your wierdo @$$ elsewhere.

They'll turn on him once there's something negative they can cling to. Media don't give a shyt. They'll play the angle for whichever gets the most traction. Most of the time, they'll play the race card because that gives them a huge audience.:pachaha:

When the Steelers were in the Superbowl, did Big Ben face the heat that Ray Lewis did? I can't remember a Boomer Esiason spitting complete venom and hate towards Big Ben. See you can call it bullshyt all you want but it is a double standard there.

Articles from the weeks leading up to the game.

Milledgeville, Ga., has left Ben Roethlisberger controversy behind

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Q-3rsNd4w8"]Terry Bradshaw Rips Big Ben - YouTube[/ame]

Ben was never charged with anything while Ray was actually charged with murder. That charge got dismissed when he agreed to testify against the other two defendants.

People talked about the Lewis case because:

1. He was retiring and when a player retires the media goes over their career. The victim's family spoke out because they felt that a guy they believed played a role in the death of their son shouldn't get praise, that got the ball rolling.

2. It's the superbowl, the media talks about all types of shyt. Just like the media bringing up the rape case last time the Steelers were in the Super Bowl. Dan Marino wasn't even involved yet the media uncovered a secret love child.

3. Ray Lewis had an interview with his boy Shannon and was asked about the case so people are going to discuss his answer.

Ben was crucified even though he didn't go to trial or serve time. Terry Bradshaw repeatedly destroyed him. Bad example breh.

Yeah... it's been said like 20 times already, but Shockey didn't get a pass in NY. Media hated him and many felt that his injury allowed Eli to play better since he wasn't acting a fool and carrying on when he didn't get the ball.

Shockey is the completely wrong example.

If you're going with the on the field stuff, I still haven't heard anything bad about Gronk. Only the partying after losing the bowl fiasco.
