Baloney! There are many examples of players that NBA teams, scouts & coaches have passed on or ignored who later became quality starters. One such illustration is Hassan Whiteside.
True but I don't think Seth is one of them. Hassan was a first round pick so obviously the talent was apparent.

Hassan Whiteside wasn't a first round pick. Whiteside was actually a 2nd round pick (33rd pick by the Kings).

Seth wasn't drafted at all. Not saying he doesn't have a place in the league cause he does but I don't think he'll ever be an 82 game starter for a team.

98% of NBA players are capable of filling up box scores if they get 40 minutes a game.

I remember I used to kill it in high school summer league games when all the football players from our squad were busy doing their thing on the gridiron. I was the #1 option playing the entire game, averaging like 18 :myman:

Then when football season ended and we had our full squad, I was back to being a role player :mjcry:

But can they do it efficiently? Dion Waiters just played 40 minutes and shot 5-22, 1-7 from 3.

****.... idk
I know he's awful defensively, but so was Steph, and I don't really get why no one gave him a chance when he's clearly a guy that can score and at the very least can give you something off the bench.

His April Numbers:

17.5 PPG, 5.3 assists per game, a steal per game, on 54% shooting from the field and 57% from three 3.

They really started Rondo's no jumpshot ass over him all year long. :mjlol:

The fact that Seth wasn't drafted is irrelevant because many players who get picked by NBA teams don't live up to their full potential or can't make it in the league & get let go by teams while undrafted guys like Jeremy Lin have been career starters & flourished.

Yeah but the fact that he still hasn't found an exact place and role in the NBA says he is more of a project than a future starter.

Your theory is flawed however because Lin is still starting games for a NBA team as an integral player playing over 25 minutes a game (26.3) on a playoff bound team.
