The replies to this are very telling, it seems to me that we have a warped view that because somebody is male that they should be able to calmly and rationally deal with any and all misfortune or disrespect no matter how egregious. This thinking is fuel to the fire to many domestic situations because it seems unfortunately that the way we are socialized in this country makes women think that no matter how ill behaved they are toward their male partner that he will and should always handle it like a statue. The problem with this is that before being classified as either male or female that everyone is HUMAN and as such has a threshold for how much bullshyt they can handle. While I believe and agree that the threshold for men is and should be higher as our position in society to be leaders, providers, and protectors necessitates that, it is pure fukk shyt to think that increasing levels of antagonistic and provocative behavior will be met with subdued and passive responses. EVERYBODY and I do mean EVERYBODY no matter the gender has a limit, so be careful with whom and how you play with PEOPLE because when somebody hits that limit there is no telling how they will react.
