Yes, but I didn't need to considering that I've been independently reading about lynching and other atrocities committed against Black Americans since I received a black history encyclopedia in 3rd grade and already knew about this.
Also when people "own" slaves some small subset of slave owners tend to commit actions like this regardless of the culture, so this is no shock to me.

I've already messaged @houston911 and @Brooklynzson to get advice about me potentially getting banned, and the conclusion was that as long as I don't instigate/bait, and improve my post quality which I'm attempting to do, then I have no worries.
