I personally think things are alittle strange right now because there wasnt a natural "passin of the torch" moment yet

Daniel Bryan beat Cena then HHH then Orton

But no one will be able to beat Daniel Bryan. He Abruptly retired and CM Punk left WWE.

Instead, its just a bunch of young lions thrown into the main event without that passing of the torch moment.

Thats what draws fans in. "Old Veteran vs Young Lion" Hell thats what made Seth Rollins so credible. He had a Wrestlemania match with Randy Orton and a Summerslam match with Cena. Dude is officially crowned as a mainstay for years to come

So when Orton, Cena, Brock, and HHH return to have storylines with the youngsters, busines should pick up

Im a firm believer that Summerslam is gonna be must see this year like it was last year. I liked how it was 4 hours and supposed to have been taken seriously.

Ambrose faced three of those four in the last year and lost every single match.:russ:

One trend I do not like right now is the riding of characters until they've ran out of steam, or never hit to begin with. I think the true problem with people not caring for Roman Reigns is how he has not changed from his Shield character, where Seth and Dean clearly have evolved further into what their characters would eventually end up being.

I think past developmental talent might have had going for them was not being forced to ride the strict rails of creative, limiting the ability to free associate and brainstorm ideas. Guys like Cena and Orton were very green, but developed over time. John had a crazy ass 180 of an idea that blew up and sent him on his way, where Randy just slowly progressed from Bob's kid to the GOAT Evolution member/Legend Killer, to the Viper/Apex Predator.

Man, there's just something missing. It's like the new trend is to rush a CAW on camera, and force everyone to see what they see, not realizing it's not working, and just taking up a memory slot. I laughed at Social Network for a minute, but none of them are worth a scratch to have the vision to evolve like The New Day did form their initial embarrassing incarnation.

I hope those with potential that are deavored or self-deavored get to run with another company to develop. I hope Wade blows up somewhere, and comes back a monster that doesn't get hurt all the damn time. Look what happened to AJ Styles when that happened.

Hell, look what's happening to Jay Lethal now...

Russo is an idiot and hasn't worked for a wrestling company that turned a profit in nearly 20 years. He is stuck on a business model that doesnt exist anymore and he wasnt on the business side anyway. WWE is shedding casuals but extracting more and more money from hardcores at the same rate. Shopzone shipments are up every quarter, WM legit sold the most tickets of any live wrestling event in North America ever, and USA Network added MORE wrestling to their schedule.

Russo is starting to approach Cornette territory with his rantings about the era he worked in.

Ive tuned out on raw completely. Its not due to who is on the card, its just raw in general.

Even when you got dope guys in a match, its a "Raw" match. They rarely have dope opening exchanges, you get rest holds that lead to nothing, a spot where they get thrown outside for a commercial break, a comeback, then a finish with either a roll up or a finisher. Rinse repeat. Plus it seriously seems like the wrestlers are told to only use their signature moves and nothing else. You already know what every match is gonna look like before it even starts.

Same for tag matches. Its just build to the hot tag, cause thats what some 65 year old told them every tag match should look like. No variety whatsoever.

WWE right now only worth watching for PPV's, cause maybe they will let them rock and have a nice match.

This post right here :whew:
