I recently got a promotion at my job and didn’t say shyt to my team or anyone until the week I was out the door.

Some dude I ate lunch with everyday didn't tell me he was looking, didn't even tell me he put in his two week notice.

Maybe this is God warning me. I got an interview for another job in IT working for my friend and ppl are quitting or changing positions left and right due to being Underpaid, overworked. Crazy thing is I just started this job in July as an analyst. I will keep my mouth shut.

Most people aint shyt, and that applies times 50 in a corporate environment. If Nancy thinks you've been taking too many bathroom breaks and decides to relay her "concerns" to the manager in hopes of a pat on the head and potential promotion/raise, she's going to do just that.
in a decently ran universe, people like that would be scolded for paying more attention to what other people are doing than their actual jobs, but the corporate world is full of liars, sycophants, racists, c00ns, opportunist, chatterboxes, snitches and general scumbags.
