My 1st private military contract
I was hired by a company that never had a military contract in a war zone


And they hired me for a contract in Afghanistan

*I literally found out that they presented me to the DOD as ALREADY being their employee (before even hiring me or contacting me about the contract) to get the contract over other companies bidding
They presented me as their expert

So I got hired and the program manager fukked up and told me later

I used that info to get sooo much more money

I was already getting top dollar
But another contracting firm we worked along
With was trying to poach me

I was the most experienced and went out on the most dangerous missions

So I let them know if they didn't give me a certain % increase
I was literally walking to the competition

They was shook and paid me

The workplace is highly competitive & people will politic for the betterment of themselves for the most part.

In the future, if you plan on quitting a job, then do so after you get the new gig. Put in your notice and then tell a trusted source on a need to know basis.
