:whew:My Nikka Barack told y'all he wasn't going to play around with Russia no mo.
:comeon: Barack isn't stupid

1. Killing a diplomat is not appropriate retaliation
2. Killing a diplomat several days after you threatened retaliatory response is even worse

I doubt this has anything to do with the US.

I thought the Russians learned from Afghanistan? This is only the beginning for them.

Not really the same as Afghanistan. Russia isn't occupying Syria. It's assisting the UN recognized government and was invited in to provide air support, intel capturing and advising on the ground.

Afghanistan had 100,000 Soviet troops there. Huge investment.

Russians aren't spending much to do their Syria operations.

The blowback by sympathizers to the rebels, AQ, and salafi type groups is a concern. But its nothing new.

Russia is no stranger to terrorist activity inside its borders with Dagestan and Chechnya... and the Saudi $$$ that came in there.

It doesn't matter how much it has invested in Syria. Every fukking Sunni is looking at what's happening at Aleppo and all they see is Russia helping the Syrian regime slaughter their people. The game is different.
