Curry

Already accomplished

- Greatest shooter of all time.
- One of 3 (someone double check for me) point guards to be both MVP and Champion in a season.
- Beat the teams of the entire 1st team All-NBA last year.
- Was clearly the reason the Warriors won in the finals.
- Highest +/- in a season proportionate to minutes played.

About to accomplish

- Poised to average 30 PPG in a season as a point guard and become scoring leader.
- Poised for a 70+ winning season
- Poised to be 2-time MVP
- Poised to have best PER a point guard has ever had.

Sleep on some of these stats if you want but all of this is top 2 PG status already.

He will still never be better than Oscar.
Regardless of the stats or per or records.

It is land locked at magic at one, and Oscar at two.
shyt Jordan is actually arguably the best pg ever, as well

Listen here mayne. You can say what you wanna say. Oscar and any player who played predominantly before the 80's should never be compared to modern day players. You'd be hard-pressed to tell me who Big O played against nightly, let alone who he even played with. The league was much too different then

Surely Westbrook should be on there? He's the same age as Steph but he's had more longevity while Steph only became a great player just 3 years ago.

Stockton is the best point guard I ever saw. Magic is a better player... probably... but not a better example of a point guard
.
Stockton just gets shyt cause hes a cac and he wears shorts that a teen girl would wear to 1970's summer camp. :snoop:

All-time steals leader... John Stockton
All-time assists leader... John Stockton

To put it in perspective... He has so many fkn assists that Karl Malone is #2 alltime in scoring... over Kobe, Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain :dead:

If Kwame Brown was on the Utah Jazz in the 90s he'd average 16 points per game just from being on the same squad as Stockton.
There are dudes like Jeff Hornezack that they basically found at a homeless shelter and put in a Jazz jersey with no training, and John Stockton was getting them like 8 points a game off the top.

:mjlol:

The way Steph Curry shuts the PGs of today down with his handles and shooting...:whew:
You try crossovers and shyt for 48 minutes vs Stockton you are just gonna end up with a shytload of turnovers vs the alltime steals leader of the nba.

And if your gameplan is to get into a one on one back and forth shootout from 3 vs John Stockton... :dead:
Its just not a sound strategy... even for Steph.

Kidd is the better passer, rebounder and defender.
Curry has better handles, shooting

Kidd also has over 100 triple doubles.....yes 100

I hate when people say this and don't really give a fair indication of overall impact

Curry's offensive superiority >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kidd's defense

Curry is such a better scorer than Kidd (and Zeke) that it's like comparing MVP Kevin Durant to Kobe right now. It's astronomical

The league had better stock roster players at those positions.
Especially, any of these new current roster and bulk of the guys, now.

Just one more thing...the Big O was better then Magic :dame:

yea i said that too.

but i have magic rated higher as a PG.
but oscar rated higher as an overall player easily.

some days i have oscar rated as the overall goat. im probably one of the few people under 50 that realize this tho.

Mostly on the advancement of sports science.

by that logic, the '80s and '90s cats should be out of the rankings by now as well.

dont single out the elder fellers just because theyre of no sentimental value to you.

this is the most ignorant and dumbest chit ever.

dont speak to me again until you learn some history.

jeff hornacek was poppin long before he went to utah. without him, they never get out the west.

who are all these utah centers that averaged 16 points per game?

Name 10 and tell me why they are better than any current roster guys. :stopitslime:

In the eighties,...just stock roster players.

Rick Carlisle
Joe dumars
Mark price
Larry Nance
Big brad
Buck and duck
Cliff Robinson
James edwards
Drazen petrovic
Terry cummings
Terry porter
Fat lever
Tim chambers
Ricky pierce
Vinny microwave

Just nineties stock roster players

Chris Jackson
Chris mills
Bobby phills
Reggie Lewis
Jeff hornacek
Thunder dan

I can start to list even more just stock players.
Who were not perrennial all stars and just stock roster guys who were way better than these new guys.
As these stock roster players could have or were all stars or the talent pool was to rich.

How many more do you want.
The older players were way better in every possible way.
It is not even an argument.
The new guys don't compare to the older guard.
If we go back to the aba/nba it is even more.
We are watching an inferior product and it is all made up for by marketing to close the apparent gap.
