It's kinda lame but at the end of the day it's the pinnacle of the genre. I'm copping a PS4 for it.

I'm ok with it...as long as it's balanced I'd rather have 16 viable characters than a few top tiers backed up by a bunch of bums. Super Turbo only had 16 characters...the first Street Fighter 3 only had 12...and the first incarnation of Street Fighter 4 only had 16 characters.

IMO bloated rosters with 30+ characters are a lot easier to fukk up and tend to only come after the game has been around for a while. So I understand why they're only going with 16 in this initial iteration.

That's understandable but at this point in gamin, buying fighters to play offline is not really the wave. Unless you got homies that are down to brawl, it's not like it used to be back in the days before online was prominent.

Online is a huge selling point for fighters now...if you aren't going thru that, it's hard for me to picture a reason to even pick up a fighter...that's just me tho.

Well they've announced 11 characters so there's only room for 5 more. Only 2 of those 11 are new btw.

DLC never requires a PSN+ Membership Access to the store is free...
