So tactically, what can the Cavs do to defeat the Warriors?

First, wait for the real finals versions of Katey and Steph show up, and they will.

First adjustment that will be made from last game is stop the fast break points, which they will. Last night was fools gold for GS fans. Cavs played their worst and Kyrie hasn't even been unleashed yet.

Not to mention Lebron's turnovers will obviously go down.

Cavs in 6.

Lebron FMVP

You act like Curry, draymond and Klay didnt miss 7 open lay ups...i dont see Klay shooting as bad as he did last night...and also with draymond

Well one, the Cavaliers offense operates best at a slow pace. That's their natural style of play. That's how they started Game 1 and the teams looked pretty evenly matched. It was when they started to turn over the ball like crazy and panicked that they picked up the pace and they got slaughtered.
Two, the more clock an offense is eating up the more a defense is working which = more tired players on the offensive end and...
Three, more clock being chewed up = less Warriors offensive possessions, less opportunities for KD and Steph to get theirs. Sometimes the best defense, is your offense.

There isn't a team in the history of this league that can beat the Warriors on a consistent basis going shot for shot. Some nights you may get lucky. But the best route to take is just to limit their players opportunities to score altogether.

Couldnt have said it better myself. @Gil Scott-Heroin was the one trying to discredit this but a slow pace is gonna their best hope I'd say. And they're a 3 point shooting team, but Cavs arent gonna be able to rely on the 3 ball as much as they're are accustomed to.

-Slow down the pace. There was a point in the 3rd where they panicked and every possession was just a random Cavs player bringing the ball up the court then immediately jacking a garbage shot up early into the clock. Actually, the entire second half they didn't run a single semblance of their offense. They panicked and tried to go shot for shot.

-Limit turnovers.

-Play the percentages in transition. They were giving Durant too many easy dunks to prevent transition 3s. Even the best shooters miss, a dunk is automatic.

-Periodically slide LeBron to the 4 and give Derrick Williams minutes at the 3 against KD. He's long and agile enough to guard him and can pick up fouls.

-Have their bench score more than 0 non garbage time points.

-LeBron actually giving effort on defense. What happened to the dude that made it his mission to punch Curry's layup every chance he got? Last night I watched him, within Curry's proximity several times, just stand there and let him get the easy layup.

It's just Game 1.
I'm sorta iffy bout this one. A hot Steph or Klay=gg pretty much. Especially Curry because he'll start pulling up from almost half-court...

- Be unconscious on offense (the role players outside their big 3 were absolute trash last night)
- Better job rebounding, TT got killed last night by everyone..probably the worst game he has had all year.

The thing with Warriors is they let other teams stay in before really trying, that team loves doing some bs allstar shyt even in finals and with a guy like Lebron if you are in the striking distance you can win it.

Agree with most of this, well said. Except the red part. He's long enough but he's not nearly fast or intense enough to stop KD. You can't actually 'stop' KD, but slowing him down.. I don't see how Derrick Williams of all people could slow him down. Double team him, yes - but it's tricky if Steph is hot.

Again, like you said, it's game 1. Didn't the Warriors win convincingly Game 1 last time? You can't compete with a team that adds an MVP purely on basket-for-basket. You need to make it a dog fight. And you need to play Green. Green is sensitive to bad calls, 2 fouls and he's yelling 'THIS IS BULLLLSHYT' in the face of the refs. If you don't use that and get him suspended.. you're playing yourself. Get him t'd up as much as possible.
