They had a match for Storm's contract post Survivor Series 01 and all he did was eat offense. It wasnt about NEEDING carrying. But Rock was the only one doing any work in that match. And when was Storm a consistently good wrestler? He has no classics..no stand out matches..basically a nobody in history except for that training school. Good in the ring but seen by what? 25k crowds when Rock or Austin weren't there to pack em up....no one here has EVER brought up Storm as some all time great workers. We laugh at Austin burying him more than mention his matches. Beth Phoenix meant more than him. Sad.

Lance Storm has no great or stand out matches? I bet guys like Jericho, Jerry Lynn, RVD and Edge would beg to differ. As i'm sure Austin and your beloved Rock would too. So would Bryan Danielson and Chris Hero after the matches they had with him in ROH. That match with Bryan is a classic, even if your usual rationale of it not popping a rating or being seen by tens of thousands of fans in attendance means it isn't worthy of consideration. Though i'm sure you'll say they all carried him during those matches.

As for Beth Phoenix meaning more than Lance Storm? You really shouldn't make yourself sound so foolish while defending The Rock. But you just can't help yourself, can you?

Good for him he came back and faced Danielson when he was doing the gimmick that Punk is trying to run with but he didn't do shyt in WCW or the WWF. He was a mediocre cat that had good mechanics. He's not in anyone's Top 100.

Fan of Japan wrestling? I'm a fan of good wrestling, no matter where's it from. Something I can't say for you if you think Beth Phoenix being in the Rumble is bigger than Lance Storm or his career. And not just because Chyna did it before her. Tell me: what's Beth doing these days? Still shining Edge's balls? Meanwhile Storm is still out there wrestling and training up and coming wrestlers. Make sure you think of Storm the next time you jump on the bandwagon of someone he trained, like a Tyler Breeze or Emma. And saying Storm is not in anyone's Top 100 is laughable coming from a guy who is a Miz fan. Miz is the epitome of mediocre and isn't even Top 1000, let alone Top 100.

Very short sighted observation friend. Mick had been working violent matches his entire career and could mentally and physically take the abuse. Rock on the other hand had been soft handled by pat patterson and the rest of the guys who groomed him. I quit matches are usually brutal. Mick was used to taking those sort of brutal bumps while Rock would never do anything risky in the ring or take an overly dangerous bump. That pretty much explains why Rock had most of the offense, Mick was carrying him.
