3H was always a tier below the real stars of the industry, he is a star don't get me wrong, but the truth is he isn't what his promoted legacy makes him out to be. It goes like this

Hogan, Rock, Austin,

Flair, HBK, Undertaker,

Macho, Bret, Piper

Jericho, HHH, Angle,

He's 4th level

swap hbk and macho and this is a sound argument...macho crossed over into significant success outside of wrestling unlike hbk

I really don't care for outside success, this is a discussion of pro wrestling.

And what was Macho's cross over success, Slim Jim ads? I remembere he did do a voice over in a cartoon move right.

And hey, MacMillan River Adventures!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was in Spider Man...had cartoons..was on ice cream bars. He's a true icon of the wrestling industry.

Shawn Michaels won the Royal Rumble in 1995 and he came out to NO REACTION and got no reaction the WHOLE fukking match. Kind of embarrassing. That never happened with Macho Man.

Haven't watched the match yet but OP is on point

He's the one member of the Kliq I never really supported. He was good in 2000-2002 with the feuds w/ Foley and HBK (at first) but other than that I never saw him as that nikka like I did with HBK and Hall. He got no sold in LA LMAO.

Macho Man had one good feud in his entire WCW run.

Macho was the God in the 80`s and 90`s but his wrestling career since he left the WWE was pretty forgettable.

And like I said, I don't care about the guy being in a cameo in a movie, that doesn't mean anything to me as him being a wrestling star.

Kevin Nash was just in Magic Mike

fukk WCW...I'm talking WWF here. WCW didn't know how to book. They had one hot storyline along with the Goldberg push and that was it. Macho did some serious carrying for years..no one could of gotten a match like that out of the Warrior. Not Michaels..not Bret...not Flair..not Benoit. No one.

Swap piper for HHH. He had a good two years(84-86), flopped in Hollywood, had a small comeback in 91, but didn't do anything of significance since. He's coasting of WM and piper pit fir decades now

Macho was great, but Shawn is the best in-ring performer EVER. And he did it for the longest time, where as Macho had maybe 6 years where he really shined.

Just ask Austin, Vince, Jericho and the rest of them and they`ll tell you Shawn is the GOAT in-ring performer.

I dunno bout that one man. Even within the realm of wrestling strictly prime for prime, match for match, promo for promo. Michaels belongs in a seat behind Savage. That's no knock. I actually like Shawn

Shawn Michaels didn't do it for the longest time. He was a tag team bumper until his 1992 single's push. Had no good standout matches except for the decent on with Bret a Survivor Series and the Razor Ladder matches. In 1996, most of that shyt he did was forgettable and had to be brought in revisionist history because NOBODY talked about it or dwelled on it at the time, unlike with Savage. When he had the classic with Flair at WM 8, it was singed in our memories. When he did the match that made a guy like Michaels want to become what he did at WM 3, it was the blueprint for great wrestling and selling. The great Mega Powers storyline build and match which was a Macho carryjob. The legendary storyline with Jake Roberts and the Ultimate Warrior. Michaels had to come back in 2002 to add to what he was because his career up until 1998 was about forfeiting titles, losing smiles, and having forgotten performances with half talents.

shawn's true prime was from wrestlemania 10 with that ladder match until he fukked up his back on the casket at RR98..thats only 4 years..i also don't recall him when out of prime carrying a lesser wrestler to near classic-classic matches like savage did with warrior and later on ddp

And Macho Man had a bigger push and run in the WWF then Flair so he's not just behind Flair as if he's Piper or someone.

When you talk about their heydays, Macho Man was also in WWF for 9 years so of course he's going to get a bigger push. Only so much you can do with a person if they are only around for 2 years like Flair was from 91-93.
