I'm still tripping how '12 went from the deepest draft since 2003 to a weak draft within the span of 6 months..

Makes me keep more of an open mind about this years draft..

Thank god we landed #1 last year :whew:

If MKG does amount to a Wallace or Igoudala though, I mean, hey for the Bobcats that's an improvement.

You said Duncan won because of his teammates not becasue of him he was the main cog,tha 2002 team was notthat talented stop movin the goal post in the argument

Duncan is a top 10 player of all time it makes things much easier to build a team when you have that kind of player

Some would say the same about KG. He never won jewelry until he got outta Minny and got to Boston. Kobe is also a top 10 player, he could never win a ring by himself.

They also won those titles because of Duncan though who was the 1st pick which made things much easier

Pretty much. When you get the #1 pick you are guaranteed a franchise changing player. Even in a "weak" class, the Cavs got Kyrie Irving :to: while the Wolves got Derrick Williams who's already been offered in a few trades

2012 was a talented draft just low on players who could actually be stars/franchise changers. That's how I feel about this upcoming draft. Nobody really stands out as a star or franchise savior but there is talent

Outside of Unibrow, Lillard and Drummond there's nobody that really has star potential. The rest are all players who could be 3rd options and talented rotation players

Dude would've been a star in Charlotte. He'd be averaging at least 24 there. Biyombo literally came out of no where and had GM's drooling. Wingspan and shot blocking ain't enough to take a project in the top 10.

Right, Golden State is clearly holding Klay back:wtb:

As far as Biyombo, he was an 18 year old project with shot blocking and defensive skills. He was raw as fukk, but the way Serge Ibaka developed inflated the value of players like Biyombo. I'd trade for him tomorrow if I could. Biyombo actually fits a team like Charlotte well because they can afford to wait on him to develop.

This is what I've been trying to convey to nikkas. If you got good scouts and a good GM you're gonna be good regardless. The Spurs keep getting better despite the fact that they have late draft picks. Their front office has great scouts and their GM knows what he's doing. Minny on the other hand :rudy:

Do you know who Charlotte's GM is?

Hint: It's not Michael Jordan.

Lets discuss Thomas Robinson. I thought he was NBA ready :beli:

Dude got traded for Pattrick Patterson, Toney Douglas and other scrubs. Patterson nice tho.

Drummond :whew:

this dumb fukk Colangelo said he didn't draft him because he didn't fit into the teams character. :pacspit: meanwhile terrence ross is 22, cant drive, averages 1 ft a game(if that), inconsistent shooter. god damnit :snoop:

I remember reading about him wearing shirts that said "check the stats" before the draft comparing his stats to Anthony Davis.

:wow:

He was full of confidence until the Kings basically told him to sit down.

He plays with arguably two top 5 players at their position. In Charlotte he'd be the best player in the building after MJ. And don't act like Steph didn't thrive once Monta got traded. Good Players play better when given the keys to the team. OKC was clearly holding Harden back.
