am I in the twilight zone ? its not impossible to know! They have the better record! Play in a harder division! They are not "impossible to know" better than the other teams, they are clearly better than some of the teams making it in the play offs

You can't say with 100% certainty that the Cards are better than any of those teams. If they Cardinals were so far and above the Eagles they would've won that game and significantly improved their playoff chances. Cardinals aren't the first team to miss the playoffs like this. NFL about winning your division, if you can't do that you don't control your own destiny and shyt happens. Do better than 2-4 next season, and ya the NFC West but too bad, life isn't fair.

NFC divisional champs earned their spot. 49ers swept Arizona, earned their spot. Saints earned their spot also beat Arizona.

Cardinals got like three quality wins all year.

Call me crazy, but I think the Bengals might beat NE and play the Broncos in the AFC championship. They've got a top 5 defense. I think Pacman, Reggie Nelson and them can rough up the Patriots receivers and disrupt Tom Brady's flow. And they have a formidable offense.

Not gonna call it yet though. I'll see if the Bengals even get there then make a judgment.

I also think Green Bay has a good chance to go to the NFC championship if they beat SF, which should be a helluva game. I can see them going to Carolina and winning. Carolina's secondary isn't all that good. They dominate with their front 7. Rodgers has good enough escapability to make plays down field.

Arizona.. 10-6.. doesnt make the play offs

but 8-7 chargers and packers make the play offs


Packers.. a 8-7 team is a higher seed than the 12-4 49ers


im a 49er fan.. fukk the arizona cardinals, but who here can honestly say they arent better than the chargers and the packers?!

How does this determine the BEST team in the league win the championship ?? If some of the best teams dont even make it in? Same with NBA play offs... The east is so fukkin garbage.. that some west teams clearly better than east teams dont get into the play offs so to me that voids actual championships because the best teams arent even competing from the start.

fukk we had a year just in recent memory the 47 win Golden State Warriors didnt make the play offs, but 34 win teams in the east made the play offs the same year

what pro sports should do

is keep the divisions..for structure purposes only. But take the top 12 best teams with the best records and put them in the play offs..

I agree man. I put 100 coli cash on them 25/1 for SB winner just as a darkhorse random bet. I dont see them actually doing it, but a couple big plays with AJ Green and good defensive play and they could surprise someone.
