So the whole "Superteam" idea is dead, right?

this super team bullshyt Lebron got the league on is exactly why I saw no point in going for both Josh Smith and Brandon Jennings.

The Nets are the biggest sad case though, worse than the Knicks cause these are the players drafted with their picks -

Damian Lillard
Enes Kanter

They also gave up Favors for Deron, shyt is crazy breh.

The crazy thing is that the Nets didn't have to make the trade.
They were a year and a half away from Brklyn, and could of just signed him as a FA in Summer 2012.

30, 31 & 32 IS PAST THEIR PRIME?
THEY WERE NEARING THE END OF THEIR PRIMES, BUT NOT PAST.
THE SEASON BEFORE THEY TEAMED UP
KG AVERAGED 22, 13 & 4
RAY AVERAGED 26, 4 & 4
PAUL AVERAGED 25, 6 & 4

NOBODY WERE CALLING THESE nikkaS PAST THEIR PRIME WHEN THAT TEAM FORMED.
IM NOT SURE WHEN THAT BECAME THE NEW RHETORIC.

I saw 3 individuals who clearly weren't going to accomplish anything on their own. Ever.

I never looked at them as a "super team". :yeshrug:

It does work if you get 3 hofers in their prime, the Nets are old and the Knicks a super team :what:

The Lakers are the only real example of it not working and that had to do with age also as Nash was done and Kobe isnt the same on D oh and Howards always been a bytch and overrated

I still think it was worth trying, to be fair Kanter and Favors are marignal players and Liliards nothing more then a long line of undersized volume scoring 2's not exactly the type of players you build around

Legit 7 footer, penetrating pg and a bunch of shooters who have a good defensive scheme >
Honestly, this will never fell. If you put CP3 with prime the Dream, Houston would never lose. It's just simple, smart BBIQ ball movement team, we top tier PG and C will usually win it all but finding that is EXTREMELY hard since top tier centers are impossible to find more than not.

The Nets wouldn't have drafted of those players anyone. The Nets also draft poorly as do the Knicks. The reason why the Pacers are the Pacers is because they can scout and develop.

44.5% = 45% AND THATS RESPECTABLE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SHOOT 6 3'S PER GAME.
HE SHOT 49% ON 2 POINTERS & 40% ON 3 POINTERS THAT SEASON.

HE SHOT 44% OR BELOW 4 DIFFERENT SEASONS IN SEATTLE.
YOUR OVERALL SHOOTING % SUFFERS WHEN YOURE SHOOTING 7-8 3'S PER GAME.

The bottom line is that Ray Allen wasnt prime Jesus in his years in Boston. It maybe the fact that it took him tho most time to jel out of the 3.

That's like saying a team of Barkley, Ewing, and Stockton in their early 30s wouldn't be a super team because they couldn't win individually.

The Celtics was a superteam

Sure if you think KG, Pierce and Allen are on Ewing, Barkley and Stockton's level. :manny:

I, however, don't believe that nonsense. :yeshrug:
