Basically like two different wars. This was more so accepted in the 80s-2000s

You had Caribbean vs West Africans then Caribbean & West African against East Africans/Somalis.

Nowadays, Caribbean and West Africans are much closer as the power balance has shifted culturally a bit, long way to go with East Africans though :pachaha:

Most of that shyt was teenage bullying and ignorance really. Now that shyt is more frowned upon like being openly colourist, you still get stereotypes and people arent accepted into peoples families etc but that will probably change going forward.

Bro just say Somalis lol, other East Africans like Ethiopians don’t fight back like that as a group, they assimilate and are easily accepted.

Back to the topic, I saw recently Twitter handles with the name “foundational black British” :mjlol:

Tariq movement is bigger than I thought

This was a thing in the 90s and early 00s in London not now

Like colourism its still lowkey there, people are just better educated and open ignorance aint the wave anymore

My big bro is mid 30s and Im 22. Our opinions are very different on this topic as a result :skip:
