The Jamaican vs Africans used to be pretty bad but it’s calmed down in recents years. But the Jamaican & West African vs East African is still going on I think

Yeah its just malis looool :russ:

Then again they got it the worst out of everyone, it's lowkey good they fight back cause it means no one from the three groups is powerless :yeshrug:

I saw a woolwich documentary about yardies vs malis, sh!t was deadly on both sides, one breh said “the malis are black but they’re not black” :mjlol:hope things calm down out there.

The beef between yardies vs 2nd or 3rd generation west africans is weird tho, since they’re practically the same people and grew up with each other, wouldn't be harder to tell the difference between each other.

Ofc it was deadly, everywhere both groups go they cause bare fukkery :dead:

Fundamentally tho we have a lot more in common with West Africans, its just Caribbean people being a lil ignorant and West Africans being snobbish that keeps the small divide going.

We dont really have much in common with East Africans, I reckon one day when Black people and Black British culture becomes stronger, it will matter even less.

Basically like two different wars. This was more so accepted in the 80s-2000s

You had Caribbean vs West Africans then Caribbean & West African against East Africans/Somalis.

Nowadays, Caribbean and West Africans are much closer as the power balance has shifted culturally a bit, long way to go with East Africans though :pachaha:

Most of that shyt was teenage bullying and ignorance really. Now that shyt is more frowned upon like being openly colourist, you still get stereotypes and people arent accepted into peoples families etc but that will probably change going forward.

Those East Africans :francis:

As someone that’s half Jamaican and Nigerian, I can tell you that the diaspora wars from my parents’ generation has pretty much died down. Millennials are mixing more and more each year and culturally, we’re in a good space of blending and embracing each other’s cultures.

Black people love dividing themselves in every conceivable way. Meanwhile white people of all types will form like Megatron to oppress all you nikkas. :francis:
