This lol. Only place at Iverson I’d recommend to him is Metro City Herb Shack on the lower level. But then again, they still operate their OG store on Georgia Ave so he don’t really gotta leave the city for them frfr. You can hit up the cookie spot for them snickerdoodles but I’d recommend the ones at Forestville Mall the most, yeah I said it

Also most of the DC folks who know better hit up PG Plaza instead whenever they’re tryna hit up a mall out here in PG lol

Forestville mall is small and dead. I only went in there for the little fitted cap/jersey store. One of the only places you could cop authentic Mitchell and Ness NBA shorts. Other than that, the area it’s in can be vibes. I remember pulling up to the parking lot in Forestville mall a couple years ago, slapping mob shyt hella loud repping my Bay roots unapologetically and this grimey looking nikka in wife beater walking across the empty ass parking lot gave me the straight. nikkas out that way is not for play play. There was a story a while back of a dude in Forestville that documented local shootings out there and he ended up getting shot himself... while driving at that. I never be out Bowie like that or Beltsville. The outdoor mall in Downtown Laurel has some decent eating spots even though they are all big corporate chain restaurants, that’s about it.

It’s a decent number of Black folks at Tysons but you’ll definitely find more of us at Pentagon City, Springfield, and Potomac Mills when it comes to the VA malls

Tyson’s II is where all the hustlers, hood nikkas and d boys and people who aspire to be dripped out like the rappers go to spend their money on designer shyt. Especially since all those brands they have at Tyson’s are more popular than ever in this era. It be smelling like straight loud in the stores sometimes there because of that. There is as good quality or better quality of shopping in DC proper.

Lol you done prolly had an encounter with a Forest Creek nikka If you’re driving southward towards Forestville Mall along Pennsylvania Ave and you see a bunch of apartments on your right side, that’s Forest Creek. It’s one of the grimiest hoods in the whole DMV, that’s where Goonew (RIP) was from. They be carrying for the whole Forestville. I used to live next to it in the Park Berkshire community for a couple of years in the mid to late 90’s as a lil kid when my grandma used to stay there. That whole lil strip mall along with the McDonalds and gas station across the street from Da Creek is trapped out asf and so is the lil corner store in the cut behind the strip mall too. I used to get my hair cut at the barbershop over there back in the day (RIP to my old barber Sean).
