if the pass opened for a coast to coast without defenders.. i would give the assist too...

technically speaking.. assist is when the pass lead to a basket... the problem with the vid is..it seems the player created his own basket... however they also did look like line drives...

There is nothing in the rules about 2 dribbles. If you throw an outlet pass ahead of the pack, that's an assist no matter how many dribbles. But if you're in the post or on the perimeter and you're out there pivoting, pumpfaking, etc, the passer didn't assist shyt.
