Well it's a more barbaric massive survival game. Yes that is the game as awkward as it may look, and yes it is very fun to play.

Yes there is looting. An example scenario that happened yesterday was a group I was in was building a safehouse some ways out. I came back and my two sleeping friends are dead and all our resources are gone. Furiouso as I was, I decided to make a quick search around the area and there was a wee little shack with people sleeping inside. I checked and they had all the items we had.
Safe to say, when they log in, they are now enslaved to us.
