Moob Deep definitely dissed him, and I'm pretty sure the Fugees did as well in an interview. De La kind of got after his style of music on Stakes is High as I recall, not a direct diss but it was definitely his way. I have no clue why he dissed LL. I guess Jay-Z got it because he was Biggie's friend but other than that I don't know of anything.

De La never dissed him breh. They dissed BIG ironically, but not Pac. Pac seen the video for "Ego Trippin" and thought the dude was supposed to be him:

De La Soul: Brooklyn Bodega's Exclusive Interview » Brooklyn Bodega

BB: I have to ask you this question. It’s a weird question and I can’t anticipate how you’re going to respond to it, but I’ve wondered about this for thirteen years now. On “Against All Odds” by Tupac [off the Makaveli album], somehow De La’s name came into the conversation. How did you guys end up on that track? Was that just what ‘Pac was on at the time, or was there an actual conversation or incident that [prompted him to diss you]?

Dave: From what we hear and what we know, even after having the opportunity to speak to one of Tupac’s sisters — Pac thought we were dissing him in the “Ego Trippin’” video. He thought the guy that was in the hot tub and bald headed, he thought we were spoofing him. We had love for Pac, man. That’s family. For us in the Hip-Hop world, he was one of the realest dudes out there. He wasn’t afraid of bearing his soul. Pac was so fearless it was inspirational. You know, it was something that he misconstrued, it was something that he thought, and it was all wrong. We never got a chance to vocalize it between each other but, even through his family, his blood, we’ve heard that Pac loved De La. He just felt like we dissed him. And if you love somebody that much and you think they diss you, I understand how you might take it personally. But we’ve got love for Pac. That’s straight love.

Later De La Soul talked to Pac's sister and she said it was a misunderstanding.

Mobb Deep never dissed him either. Pac heard "Thug life we're still living it" on "Survival of the Fittest" and over reacted.

I dunno about the Fugees. Don't remember the circumstances of that at all.

As far as Jay, there was an interview a few years ago with Hussein Fatal. He said Pac seen Jay as a problem because he was BIG's homeboy, so he wanted to end him early. He also said "Hit Em Up" originally referenced Jay, too, but the Outlawz talked him out of dissing Jay.

u don't think LL wuz dissin Pac on "I shot Ya" as well as the remix?
I

Possessin' power, takin' everything I can grasp
Go get it now, why you always dwellin' on the past?
Baby boys reminiscin' old school shyt Young fools get dikked,
LL rules the shyt With a platinum fist, the relentless abyss I take you to a land where piranhas like to kiss

And I ain't even sayin Pac didn't deserve to get dissedd by LL,even if the fashion he did it mighta been kinda personal for just a rap beef considering the title of the song.....when he says "baby boys reminisin old school shyt" I kinda assume he took offense to Pacs song Old School where he says.

"LL raisin hell but that didn't last"

You can't say that about LL:krs: this is anikka who wuz outraged by a nikka asking to borrow a mic off his arm, considering the title of the song, along with that line:manny:

Hmmm. That's a good question. Even if LL wasn't dissing him the song title "I Shot Ya" is dicey as hell in general. Kinda like BIG talking about going back to Cali. It's a little much.

Also DMX dissed Pac/the west coast over the same instrumental:

So I'm sure Pac felt some kinda way about the song/title.

The line is :ld: to me.

Not because it's a bad line. It's a hilarious line. Classic even.

But De La Soul never dissed him so it was kinda a clown move to diss them basically for no reason. Especially after he went out of his way to give them props on "Old School".

Fred.

It's like some of you hear names and loose all concept of the context

When De La Soul was putting pot holes in the game . . wasn't giving them props. Common sense would tell you he didn't diss them for no reason, of all the people he had reasons to diss your logic leads you to conclude that he was just pulling names outta hats . . :mjpls:

:wtf: are you talking about. He shouted out De La, and their classic single "Potholes in my Lawn":

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lNS07IrYVw"]De La Soul - Potholes In My Lawn - YouTube[/ame]

The only reason Pac dissed them was because of a misunderstanding over the video to "Ego Trippin".

I could understand you saying this on the first page....but this has already been cleared up. You're mad late.

He said when De La Soul was putting potholes in the game.

They clearly took offense to it and snubbed subliminally on one of their tracks. He responded

Tupac was on some stalker ish with other rappers, you thought if you hide the diss deep in your album he wasn't gonna find it but nope :beli: . . no where was safe :pacspit:
