These jits be like 11 and already got dem seasoned veteran blunt lips and ARs.:mjlol:

All blame is on the shytty parents

I don’t want to hear the excuse about the conditions they live in. I don’t want to hear about other bullshyt like lack of resources and there’s nothing else out here for the kids

The mothers are the same ones that was yelling I don’t need a man to raised my son and now the same broad years later crying that her son father isn’t around and she can’t do anything about it and just let the streets raised her son.. happens all the time

then u have the no good fathers, who probably bust they nut and bounced off without handling their responsibilities or even worse teaching /showing they sons is negative street life..

IS MUSIC A BIG INFLUENCE? Yes

but these parents is beyond trash

You aren't everybody in the world idiot.

Music is very powerful and influential. Don't be obtuse so your can avoid addressing the issue. Why does ADOS defend this filth? Is it out of fear of confrontation, or simply not giving a damn?

Because as an immigrant I can assure you if someone tried this in my community, dude would get blasted and ostracized. I'm very curious here.

the ol i've been drinking all my life I have no idea how people become alcoholics

2 non American ass nikkas quoting me about Black American music y’all need to pipe down

If hip hop is the catalyst and the influencer why aren’t the White kids who listen to drill the most affected by these things? :jbhmm:

The reality is that these kids would still be doing the same shyt if Rock was the dominating genre except they wouldn’t make music they’d just be gangbangers in the street.

They live in a terrible environment and with or without drill or gangsta rap will that change.

Many people are in an abusive relationship with this cultural institution so they have a strong desire to minimize its culpability.

The music is an escape for many to not deal with their present realities. Also, the ‘institution’ provides for non-traditional avenues of making money. While I understand both, it comes at a cost. A cost that is chipping away at or degrading societal norms.

I remember flipping through channels some years back and landing on an episode of Love & Hip Hop. For the first few minutes that I watched it, the discussion was around (and I’m putting it in my own words) how concubines and whores that men are sleeping with should give deference to and respect to a man’s baby mama (even though they be not married) so that they all can coexist peacefully. And they were just discussing all of the proper protocol and rules around having different baby mamas and concubines and how to navigate those relationships, and I’m just staring at these people like this can’t be life? It’s so irregular, but a lot of things that are irregular are the norm within the cultural institution of hip hop that kids growing up have a better understanding of ‘baby mama’ and ‘side chick’ relationships than they do for a ‘wife’. And it’s just the unquestioned acceptance of these ways of living that just blows me away.

Let’s be clear, yes the parents AND rap are a factor. But the thing is, people have the tendency to dismiss rap as an influence. THAT’S the problem here.

There are several adults that are around them and indulge or encourage this behavior so let's talk to them first before we start holding kids that just learned how to wipe their ass by themselves accountable. This is child abuse,no matter how you slice it.
My parents would have beat the shyt out of me if I even thought about doing some of the foolishness this kids partake in:francis:

I mean, rap music and hip hop culture in general has been used as mass propaganda and is a silent weapon for quite wars. So if you have a vessel with no guidance they will be influenced and under that mind control. It is what it is.

I was watching “The Defiant Ones” and I was disgusted by how these record label heads really don’t think about the results of what they are pushing forward and financing.
