I was hugely disappointed by skyfall. Casino Royale is the GOAT bond movie

Craig is 2 for 3 and most of the Solace problems were because of the writer's strike. I expect more dopeness from the next ones. I didn't even know he was doing 3 more. That's good news IMO. Who else is a better choice? Even if Skyfall bugs some people it killed at the box office, had good reviews, and it got a lot of people open to the new Bind movies. I know a a couple of people that went back and saw Royale and Solace just because they enjoyed Skyfall.

And I really don't think anyone is wrong because everyone has their guy and their interpretation. Gimme early Sean and Daniel Craig all day. I like three roger Moore flicks, love the living daylights and goldeneye. Tomorrow never dies is ok at best but Brosnan's last two are meh or plain terrible in my eyes.
Can they remake Quanium of Solace? I think everyone knows that movie was flawed because of the writer's strike... can they just remake the movie so it can become the GOAT that it should have been?
If you watch it back to back with casino royale it's A LOT better

The poker scenes are just so offensively stupid they nearly ruin the movie.

If you're going to set up a scene where someone fakes a tell and someone else calls down what they believe to be a bluff, they shouldn't have FOUR OF A KIND AND A FULL HOUSE.

He was an ok bond in a great movie. I think cats need to give OHMSS another look they might be surprised
I agree. The first 2/3 of QoS is incredible. Easily the best part of the Craig trilogy imo. As soon as they crash the plane the whole thing pretty much goes off the rails. Craig has said he and the director were essentially writing scenes themselves because of the writer's strike.
I still prefer it to the narrative clusterfukk of Skyfall.

The concept of a villain letting themselves get captured as part of their master plan is fukking tired. And it's fukking stupid.
If Silva's end game was essentially to put on a costume and walk into M's hearing a shoot her, there was NO REASON for his entire plan up to that point. Nothing before that made that any easier. It was fukking nonsense.
I also thought Bardem's performance was a joke. Way over the top, hammy bullshyt.
And I didn't really care for the 'Home Alone: 007' skit the movie turned into.
And the writing sucked.
