You don't have to frame it as lacking a middle ground. Why front like Lebron not facing double teams come solely down to "who he plays with" and NOT his ability to make teams pay because of his passing abilities?
NOW we're giving all of the credit for Bron not being double teamed to his teammates....not his ability and attributes as a player.

but when people make this argument of who lebron has surrounding him, they throw pippen out there like he was a dwayne wade or shaq type of player next to jordan. and he just wasnt. the rarity that you would see pippen taking over a game to the point where jordan was left single covered so pippen could be checked just never happened. that is the only point im making.
i understand exactly what you saying as far as bron ability to find the open man the reason teams dont double. im only arguing the issue of jordan not being doubled based on pippen being on the court with him. with that i disagree cause pippen didnt command double teams like that.

people throw "well pippen played with jordan" out there like it was the same as what bird, magic, lebron and kobe had/got around them
people say, well jordan didnt win shyt without pippen, people neglect all them years that jordan couldnt win shyt with pippen. and when the blueprint to beat the bulls was to double jordan and make his teammates beat you. and knock pippen down a few times cause he soft. people forget that part of the story. people forget that in the 96,97,98 the 2nd 3 peat era pippen point totals went down from the reg season vs the playoffs.
