Hold up,Sauce Walka is from Texas so that has to negate what you are saying here. As Texas will always trump Atanta in the sense they culturally set the tone in the south. Freestyle raps about lean was heavy in Texas!that style is the foundation of the punch in/punch out freestyle hiphop that the lane you speak of game goes off of today. Street nikkas melodically singing about their drug of choice,crime,cars,ho's etc Texas had been doing that before the rest of the south since they are essentially the mecca and beggining of a true southern hiphop culture in just about every facet. You are also sleep on the battle aspect of Texas,you are discounting Walka by putting him in the same lane as others. When he comes from a place that culturally has a real hiphop foundation in Texas. Its a disrespect to Texas to say what you and ohters are saying here.











Plus the style is original and a breath of fresh air,Atlanta has to give this one up. They may not know why they are saying "sauce" again,but Walka is the reason,not J Money.

This is true. People forget Future was resurrected and fell off after Pluto and Honest. Those mixtape brought him back to life.
