Didn’t trick me though. People talking bout Brock like a perennial Brie bowl vet will slide back into the starting role and won’t miss a beat. It will be very interesting to see how the season plays out. Imagine if Sam Darnold ended up being the guy? It’s wild how Brock is basically Jimmy G 2.0
Jimmy went 5-0 to finish 2017 and tricked a lot of people (specifically Kyle & Lynch) into thinking he was a Franchise QB. Brock goes 7-0 to finish 2022 before breaking his elbow and now he’s being anointed as the Franchise QB. I’ve seen this movie before and I think Brock, while exceeding low expectations, got people fooled
It’s more than likely that his run in 2022 will be as good as it will ever get for him

at the very least we have some years to figure out if it's worth keeping him or not.
he was also on a contract year so we made the mistake of giving him too much money but we can't also forget the knee injury changed him as a player and he was never able to develop as a better QB. He was never better than he was when he came in....maybe Brock will suffer the same future but we don't know, AND we have the luxury of having him on a dirt cheap contract for the next couple of years.
