What don't you understand? In order to score, Kobe has to use more varying types of shots, play in different positions on the court, and generally use more moves to create separation than LeBron because he's not as physically gifted.

That's not a slight on either one. Kind of like Shaq vs Duncan.

but the size has nothing to do with it. Melo who is of a similar size has a way better offensive game, and there are players bigger than bron with a more rounded offensive game.

That play out on the wing and have Bron's running and jumping ability?

Melo while a similar size, is nowhere near as athletic. He's not going to lose you on a pick and roll then jump off one foot from the dotted line and dunk. He has to get his points either posting up or iso on the wing.

Melo's offense is much more versatile. He's a better shooter, better shot creator, better mid-range game. LeBron is more efficient, but Melo takes MUCH more difficult shots cause he doesnt care about his FG%, unlike Bron.

Melo isn't nearly athletic yet doesn't need picks in the halfcourt every play like Lebron despite Lebron being way faster and stronger.

dont agree. Melo can get buckets in more ways than Bron can, and teams refuse to play off him. Getting played off is a great indication of whether or not a team respects your perimeter game. Melo could outscore Bron any day of the week if it came down to it.

here's what Kobe had to say
The Lakers star said Anthony, the Knicks’ MVP candidate, is the “most difficult” guy for him to guard in the league, even harder than LeBron James, he told ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on Tuesday.

Bryant called Anthony, who is averaging 27.7 points per game this year, “a bull” and says he “does it all.”

Melo is just the more complete scorer.

“I’m [180 pounds] soaking wet,” said Bryant, who is Melo’s teammate on Team USA. “Going up against that bull, it’s fun, but it’s hard.”

I don't know what you want me to say. Bron has never been a great iso player and Melo isn't close to the PnR player Bron is. They play entirely different styles. PnR plays right into LeBron' strengths. Extremely explosive while moving and hard to stop when headed towards the basket. He's very big and very fast so attacking the basket is going to be his go to. Melo is very strong with a great first step so the iso game fits him better.

Kobe is probably one of the few players who can iso, post, and PnR fairly well though. :jawalrus:

Is Melo a better offensive player than Shaq? Answer that question.

Lebron averages more points on much better efficiency, has more 30, 40 and 50 point games, has scored nearly 4000 more points than Melo and is a much better playmaker/passer, but somehow we must believe that Melo is a better offensive player?

Going by your logic Arenas is better too.
