Melo is so much better a scorer than lebron that he has 4000 less career points :dead:

I understand if you want to make up some bullshyt term like pure shooter or pure scorer or whatever, but how can he be a better scorer when Lebron has practically lapped him in scoring, which is even more ridiculous when you consider lebron does it on less shots and also has to do everything else on the floor while the only thing Melo's teams have ever asked of him is to score.

I never bought into that pure scorer argument for Melo especially when guys like Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Durant and Dirk have all been as good or better in scoring the ball.

Is Melo a better offensive player than Shaq? Answer that question.

Lebron averages more points on much better efficiency, has more 30, 40 and 50 point games, has scored nearly 4000 more points than Melo and is a much better playmaker/passer, but somehow we must believe that Melo is a better offensive player?

Going by your logic Arenas is better too.

didnt say he was a better offensive player said he was a better/more versatile SCORER. Shaq isnt in this discussion, he's a center. Its a fact that Melo can get buckets in more ways than Bron can. Its obvious his jumper is better, and its obvious he has the better offensive arsenal. Stats have nothing to do with this, im going by the eye test.

The Bron hate is strong with these dude.

Lebron is literally one of the 5 best scorers ever and Melo is not even in the top 20. :pachaha:

18 rebounds and a loss :aicmon:

:pachaha: last year lebron had 40 points 18 rebounds and 9 assists in game 4 of the east semi's and they won

Bron peaked higher, but you are seriously underrating Kobe here.

No I'm not I've watched kobe since 96-97.He's a great scorer possibly the greatest most explosive perimeter scorer ever, other aspects of his game are overrated by his stans and the media

so you really gonna argue LeBron a more versatile scorer than Melo?:skip:

a better shooter?:skip:

better shot creator?:skip:

Well, originally we were just talking about the better offensive game. Kind of hard to find what that constitutes now that I think about it.

What I think makes Bron a better offensive player is that although he still has a few holes he's consistently getting better at addressing them. His post and midrange game are far beyond what they were in say '07 or '08. Couple that to his playmaking ability and he's getting harder and harder to stop. Melo hasn't seemed to do the same.

Kobe

Larry Bird
Karl Malone

Iverson

just no
LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

@ Iverson being a better scorer than Lebron.

A dude that struggled to shoot above 40% from the field. :skip:

You are a fukking idiot.

How old are you man?

Malone and Dirk aren't better scorers either. Neither was Bird.

You said melo was a better scorer, when everything points to the fact that Lebron shyts on melo as a scorer.

They both been in the league the same amount of time, Melo for his career averages 25 on 45/33/80. lebron averages 27.6 on 49/33/75

How can one guy be a better scorer when the other guy has consistently proven to be able to rack up more points on better shooting? Lebron has more 50 and 40 point games too.

Kobe
Jordan
Larry Bird
Karl Malone
Dirk
Iverson

just no

iverson: 26.7 on 42 (:gag:)/31/78
Bird: 24.9 on 49/37/88
Dirk: 22.6 on 47/38/87
Malone: 25 on 51/27/74

The way you talkin I guess Joe Johnson is a better scorer than Shaq cause he could shoot jumpers?

Lol @ this discussion. nikkas saying oh Kobe woulda had 30 shots and the team woulda lost :troll:

I don't know about 30 shots, but he DEFINATELY would have had more than 4 in the fukking fourth quarter :laff:

That was literally a game that one team needed a scorer, the fukk is the ball doing in Bosh's hands in the 4th?
