I don't give a fukk if he likes the show, he's ruining Seinfeld one release at a time. Imagine me taking Seinfeld seriously after listening to a trash Wale album :scust:
:gladbron: Look at that, someone gets it!!!!!!!!!!
Problem isn't that it makes no sense, the problem is this "King of Lame/Cornball Rappers" is kicking dirt on the good name of Seinfeld unintentionally bc of his :trash:raps

Well you're time is up obviously plus you can't rap so really who cares about how it was back in your day

:blessed:

Because modern day rap is hip hop at it's at it's worst so people should revel in the time when it was at it's apex. It's the equivalent of someone :blessed:how good modern day heavyweight boxing is :scust: of course they'd rather talk about how good heavyweight boxing was in the 90's when today that shyt is the worst it's ever been. Reciprocate the notion.

Wale albums are not part of the problem though so your making a valid point for no reason.

I remember growing up with no cable and watching Seinfeld everyday with other Cac shows like Friends, Drew Carey, Everybody loves Raymond and etc. So I can understand if he grew fond of these shows because that's all they showed on network TV when I was coming up.

I haven't watched an episode in years, but let's just say that the show is genius. Completely redefined sitcoms. I remember because I was trying to watch it in the late 90s, and just being confused as to why people found it funny. Little did I know that my teen brain couldn't comprehend that I was watching something much deeper than your average sitcom.

If you're gonna watch an episode of Seinfeld, watch the episode from the very beginning. Can't stress that enough. That was always my problem. I'd come in 5 minutes late. and by then, the plot was already too complicated and I would have no idea what the fukk was going on.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Seinfeld introduced the A, B and C plots in TV sitcom writing. I'm getting technical here on a screenwriter tip... but think about this. Prior to Seinfeld, you would watch a show that was centered on one person. e.g. Will Smith in Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Every episode had only ONE plot for the entire episode, and that plot always involved Will. For example, today's episode: "Will experiences an earthquake. Hijinks ensue."

Seinfeld came along and said: "OK, the show is about me, but really it's about New York City. And how random and interconnected life is in New York City". So an episode would start with Seinfeld observing something random that's actually important but we never think about: e.g. why can't we just eat the top of the muffins since they taste the best? Why do we have to eat the bottom part that sucks? So Plot A will be Seinfeld's exploration of that and the trouble he gets into trying to answer that question. Meanwhile, Elaine has issues with her new man. Her new bf's doing something random that's irritating her, and she doesn't want to bring it up to him but she can't help but be irritated by it. So that becomes Plot B. Kramer's trying to kick out a tenant. That's Plot C.

So basically you're watching these completely separate stories in one half hour, and they usually come together in the end. Funny as fukk! They were all cowards in their own way. Easily distressed about something random, but too p*ssy to really attack the problem head on. I'm laughing just thinking about this shyt. I gotta watch some episodes.

Just google Seinfeld and read more about it.

IMO, The Cosby Show >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

And people underrate the genius complicated humor that the Cosby Show portrayed. It wasn't just Cosby, his wife, and his kids. Cosby was the first to make Idiosyncrasies funny. The forerunner of "Realistic" comedy, instead of Scenario comedy, like previous sitcoms. He was ahead of his time in that regard. Making comedy out of something simple like looking for food in the fridge

Let's not forget Seinfield is a well documented Cosby stan. Everybody Loves Raymond, Kings of Queens, and My Wife and Kids are greatly influenced by The Cosby Show. That show was the godfather to Seinfeld

Word, modern day rap like J Cole and Kendrick is Hip Hop at its worst? Not that shiny suit garbage Puff was putting out 16 years ago? Not the unlistenable nonsense that makes up 90% of No Limit's catalog? Not Laffy Taffy, released a decade ago?

I agree, I'm fond of a lot of modern Network TV dramas cause I didn't have cable most of the time growing up, and even if I did, didn't know of forums like The Film Room so I had no idea where to check for dope cable shows :manny:

However in the late 90s there was a lot of black sitcoms so it wasn't necessary to watch the white sitcoms, nikkas :eat: good off of WB and UPN back in the day.
