So we have the potential to have AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) within the next couple years, and then from there the exponential growth continues with AI now creating their own AI models and getting better, faster
It could either go one of 2 ways… either AI companies, and governments take control of the technology and use it “for the greater good” by putting guard rails on the AI to essentially not completely take over while also putting systems in place for humans who are going to be without a lot of jobs due to AI takeover (Universal Basic Income)
Or companies and CEOs continue to try and get there “first” due to their competition with Chinese companies, and are unable to control AI as it grows smarter, faster and eventually takes over and realizes that we as humans are a drain on the planet
I find it interesting that even if this concept is 10 years away, it’s still something that seems likely to happen quickly
