So we have the potential to have AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) within the next couple years, and then from there the exponential growth continues with AI now creating their own AI models and getting better, faster


It could either go one of 2 ways… either AI companies, and governments take control of the technology and use it “for the greater good” by putting guard rails on the AI to essentially not completely take over while also putting systems in place for humans who are going to be without a lot of jobs due to AI takeover (Universal Basic Income)

Or companies and CEOs continue to try and get there “first” due to their competition with Chinese companies, and are unable to control AI as it grows smarter, faster and eventually takes over and realizes that we as humans are a drain on the planet


I find it interesting that even if this concept is 10 years away, it’s still something that seems likely to happen quickly

But is it here right now nikka? How long do you think it would take to get that type of infrastructure up and running correctly… without issues?

So in 2027, yes we will be CLOSER to AGI but this is still some ways away from being anything realistic or affecting anything in peoples daily life.

AI is barely even doing it where it is now.

Most people speaking about AI shyt are actually mixing it up with what AGI will be capable of. And that is at least half a decade before any significant breakthroughs because of the architecture or infrastructure required for that at the scale they would want to use it at, would require a significant breakthroughs in our own technology and infrastructure, correct?

No one knew what the video was completely about because of no cliffs.

But I don’t think AGI becomes a thing until Quantum Computing becomes a bigger thing, and the power needed to run that is crazy just in itself.

It can happens but highly unlikely right now
First. The infrastructure is not they yet
Second. Connect AMD and nvidia GPU servers together will causes alot issue.
Third. Air Cooling GPU servers generate alot of heat and cause the data center to place more air conditioning unit on the data center
Fourth. Need more energy source for the GPU servers
Fifth. Next wave of GPU server will be liquid cooling and need new data center with liquid cooler system. Estimate guess, liquid cooler system eat up about 10% of water and electricity of the city.

No doubt the “breakthrough” will need to happen.. how long that takes, is up in the air but there are a lot of people saying within the next 2-3 years. Most people agree that there is incentive to progress at a rapid rate from both the US and Chinese

There is essentially a “race” to AGI with China. Resources will be thrown at the problem and continue to be on both sides, Ala the space race, or the race for nuclear weapons
