Breh, no matter how you try to spin this... Chance the rapper is not gonna draw more fans than Kings of Leon or Skrillex.

Mind you, Skrillex has 6 grammys, scored a movie that made $400 Million, and made $16.5 Million this year.... do you think that CHANCE THE RAPPER somehow could draw fans out like him?

Do not confuse people at a venue, and him on stage= they showed up for him.

Ok, but he still managed to draw a more than respectable crowd while playing at the same time as Skrillex and Kings of Leon. What do you not get about that? Of course that's how it looks those people showed up for him considering that those onlookers in the audience decided to end their night with a Chance set instead of a Skrillex or a Kings of Leon one. That's exactly what any rational thinking person would take from that.

Dude dropped one mixtape and didnt do anything else to capitalize off it besides tour

Smfh :camby:

LOL he didnt have to. Dude is with "agencies" he aint gotta be out "here" like that. His handlers have him placed higher than most the artists you see dropping free music all the time but can barely tour anywhere. If you are connected and cosigned thats all you need. Your music can be whatever. Its the age of managers and PR people then personalities, thennnnnnnnn music. That is a "musician" in 2014. You dont have to have a hit or even recognizable song. Just get your handlers to get you "placed" in the right spots and you dont need radio or anything else. shyt you may not even have to record any music, lol. Th

He's on tour right, he's dropping his third project either after this tour or in 2015

Crazy how he comes out on some stop the violence in Chicago shyt and gets met with hate. What kinda plant preaches against violence and murder? Ignorant c00ns
Who cares if he preaches against stop of the violence
if he's barely a cut above mediocre ?
And what does his preaching against the violence have
to do with what causes it ?

Anyways I don't get the deal with this guy.
I had to sit through a car ride with his stuff
blasting and to be frank, it just sounded really meh :yeshrug:
I think it was from the guys first tape but whoever his producer is
LOVES to use the SAME drum pattern for each song.
A dozens hi hats, some kicks, and a snare, gets grating
when the last song had the EXACT pattern but a different simple.
Felt like the drums were an afterthought.
Maybe I'll give him another chance sometime in the future
but after hearing that handful of songs I'm not in a hurry too.
