:drizzywtf:Thats my point exactly, theyre acting like were talking about Jay Z or some shyt with 10+ albums. This nikka has 1 critically acclaimed mixtape that came out in the beginning of last year and were going on 2015.

You would think dude dropped illmatic, the way they talk. I fukks with the dude though:ehh:

Y'all gonna use the " real hip hop takes time to make, not like Soulja Boy and (insert whatever rappers you dont like) who put shyt out everyday" excuse yet?

I mean, that's a valid excuse & all....

But dude was on a SINGLE (and a video) with Justin Bieber. Almost any new rapper would jump at that chance (no pun) as a springboard. And then he hasn't really been heard from since.

Established new rappers like J. Cole, Big Sean, Wale, even Drake& Kendrick drop random tracks to feed the fanbase. Rick Ross too

Not saying you have to, but if those dudes do it, then it's prob wise to not disappear for like a year

You sound dumb as fukk comparing the position he's in to nikkas like Drake, Jay and Kanye who have several years worth of ALBUMS to hold their fans over. Chance The Rapper is new, he dropped his last full length project almost 2 years ago, idc how many shows he does.. he's not in a position to sit on it and drop whenever he wants because he'd rather do shows, fans will get impatient and turn on u in the blink of an eye. Do you realize that ever since Chance became famous he hasn't dropped ONE project to capitalize off of his buzz? He dropped Acid Rap before all of the hype and nothing followed.

Thats like 50 Cent getting signed and not dropping his debut album until 2005 and no mixtapes or anything in between.
And you sound fukkin stupid, do you not understand what a fan is nikka? Who says "fukk so and so" because thye haven't dropped shyt in a while? That's not a fan you just don't like Chance nikka that's all there is to it on your end.

He's ina position to do what the fukk he wants, it's his damn career, who have you managed exactly? :what: You like one of those broke dudes tryin to tell nikkas how to manage money.

No one gives a fukk about fifty bruh he's the definition of irrelevant in 2014 and he's strugglin to get back in the game, though I'm rootin for dude his career and Chance's are nowhere near the damn same at all :stopitslime:

You have yet to explain how he's a plant also you stay duckin that shyt :comeon:

Let that man cook and stop tryin to make him follow other people's blue print, his fans will be here when he drops and when the thread for his next project is on The Coli I bet I see you and other haters in there mad at a project made from an artist ya'll don't even like :mjlol:

Also his hype came after Acid Rap if any what the fukk you talkin about :what:

Delusional stan ass nikka:snoop: when did I say his hype didnt come after Acid Rap? Youre getting so emotional over a nikka u don't even know that u can't read correctly, get the fukk off his dikk.. but I shouldnt expect any different from a nikka with Chance's picture as his avi. If you think any rapper can just not drop shyt, especially a new rapper with 1 popular mixtape and still have a fanbase intact youre a dumbass, ask Juelz how that worked for him. I compared him to 50 Cent when he first came out, not 50 cent in 2014 so that irrelevant shyt was pointless. 50 was someone who had a bunch of hype as a rookie just like Chance and capitalized off of it, Chance hasn't done shyt to capitalize and if u think festivals are the end all be all then good luck.

And typical stan shyt is calling someone who has a different opinion than u a hater, I didn't insult him once in this thread, im talking about how his career is going so far. I may not have managed anyone but neither have u so that point was irrelevant. The fact of the matter is, he had a bunch of hype and was looking like the next superstar in rap and now he's looking at someone that will be lucky to reach Gambino's level:umad:

First failed plant, whats understood don't need to be explained:umad:.. now keep getting emotional over your lazy industry plant favorite rapper:umad:

His fanbase is there whenever he does decide to drop something. r/hiphopheads and KTT go insane over this guy. Don't see what the rush is. Take your time and make it quality.

Headlining Lollapalooza :heh:

He hasn't even had a single or been featured on a song that's been in rotation on the radio....a year later after a "critically acclaimed" mixtape.

http://www.lollapalooza.com/2014-lineup/

If your name isn't in the two largest fonts, you aint headlining shyt:heh:.... even Nas doesn't have top billing at Lollapalooza 14.

Be 6 rows down from the main acts in the small font and claim you're headlining a festival:russ:

Bruh drew an audience 60,000 people while playing opposite institutions like Kings of Leon, and Skrillex. Bruh might as well have headlined.

So many delusional cats in this thread. Yall in here saying a year and a half isn't a long time for a new act with only 1 notable release under his belt, i mean what planet are you on? :dahell: Citing "an ADHD generation" as a counter, what kind of weak cop-out is that? :aicmon: Dude doesn't even have Asap, Kendrick or J-Cole type of hype to be playing like that. I'm not even saying he needs to OD like your average internet rapper, but tracks every now and then, just to remind dudes he's still out there putting in work would make sense. At the end of the day, no fukks are given :yeshrug:. It's just funny the lengths y'all are going to defend this dude:heh:
The thing is the whole "his buzz is dying/he isn't capitalizing/he isn't doing enough" shyt has been said about almost every new rapper. I've seen this same thread for Kendrick, J.Cole, ASAP, Wale, both before and after they have dropped projects, I've even seen "Drakes buzz is fading" threads. The shyt is ridiculous. And a year and a half is getting close to a long time but not quite just yet, and dude has been touring so it ain't like he isn't out there. Now of course he could fukk around and end up on some Jay Electronica took to long shyt, but it really is too early to call that. From what I can tell him and Vic Mensa have been doing shows so that they can establish a fan base which really doesn't seem like a bad thing to me. If he hasn't dropped something new by the two year mark I'll agree with yall, it's just a little premature in my eyes to call it over, especially when he has been actively touring

This nikka been rapping even when he was 10 years old and the people who knew him when he was a kid said he was dead serious when he said he was gonna be a rapper when they asked him in the fourth grade what job he wanted to do as an adult WAYYYY before anyone thought he was going to be famous. The older folks were like "yeah, whatever I guess.." while shocked and his friends were like "That sounds cool!" wishing him good luck.

He's unique, he makes catchy music, he has mad crossover appeal and his management team is nothing to fukk around with at how good they are. Just wait, Chano is cooking now so he doesn't rush out any garbage. He is trying to make a classic debut that's worth your hard earned cash.

Music is a social event and this dude has A LOT of fans. I chop up a lot of game at KTT and he has mad respect and hype with the young HS/College demographic. I know a ton of HS kids as well as college kids that love Chance as well. Nobody is really checking for fifty like that anyways. Kids want their OWN fifty and Ja or Tupac and Biggie. Millennials respect the legends that came before us but it's important that we have our own artist that speak for our generation like Drake, Young Thug, Chance the Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, Big Sean, Kid Cudi, etc.

This dude knows what he is doing, he's not some dusty nikka who wanted to be famous with no idea how to make music.

Chance the rapper didn't/can't/won't ever draw 60,000 people..... 60,000 people showed up, and he happened to be on the bill.

Jay-Z isn't even drawing 60,000 fans... that's U2 levels of stardom.

Have 23 acts listed before your name.... claim you might as well have headlined brehs

He's in the same place as he was when you heard about him, the underground with a modest following. His buzz was manufactured (i.e. paid for) to generate opportunities and it worked in his favor. I'd say his mainstream peak will be just shy of Kid Cudi's.

Not a fan of his music but he appears happy with how he's eating so more power to him.

Breh, no matter how you try to spin this... Chance the rapper is not gonna draw more fans than Kings of Leon or Skrillex.

Mind you, Skrillex has 6 grammys, scored a movie that made $400 Million, and made $16.5 Million this year.... do you think that CHANCE THE RAPPER somehow could draw fans out like him?

Do not confuse people at a venue, and him on stage= they showed up for him.
