The Nas album in question was released 7 years ago...plenty of time for a reference track or even proof the track exists to come out. Nothing.

Drake was called out for an album that was released months ago. His reference tracks have been dropping left and right.

Be delusional brehs:mjlol:
You right, we have reference tracks for every single instance of a rapper writing for another rapper :francis:

You're right we don't. But we do have 5 instances of reference tracks for Drake :sas1:

But let's not talk about that. Let's talk about all the reference tracks we THINK are out there and ignore the ones stickied at the top of the forum :francis:

Except in this case the alleged writer of the reference track says it doesn't even exist:laff:
I agree, that's definitely proof, the alleged writer has no reason to lie.

I'm not sure why you acting like I'm ignoring the Drake tracks :what: We BEEN talking about these (edit: I'm the one who made the fukkin thread :dead:). It's BEEN established that Drake can no longer be considered one of the greats. What's your point? :why:

The question is: If there is actual PROOF of Jay/Stic writing for Nas, does Nas get the same treatment? Can he still be considered the GOAT?

It surprises me the degree to which people can't appreciate the nuances in this shyt. Some in here have though :salute:
There's a big difference between writing a rhyme and then recording it with your crew and the producer present and getting input from them at that point. That's a good thing. The crew should be calling out the wack shyt. If somebody's got a way to improve a certain line - by all means. So when Cormega gives Nas a line for Affirmative Action - I don't have an issue with that. And its a loud difference between that and Drake finding a "writer" to record reference tracks for him to use. Quentin Miller wasn't a part of Drake's crew. That i know of...
I'm also fine with Wu taking lines from other Wu Members. Again, they're all collaborating on these songs, or there referencing lines from older unreleased material. That's just a entirely different species.
