Co-sign on dudu osun. It smells kinda sweet/tropical but not in an overpowering way. Scent goes away quickly but that shyt will have your skin feeling hydrated.

OP is also hispanic. I think Dudu would fukk yall up. Mostly because the soap is strong. If you dont put the right lotion (say no to chemicals) and sunblock, this soap has potential to make the sun burn your skin like a vampire. skin might be too sensitive for this stuff.

this shyt makes your skin clean af and you'll have this good ass scent simmering out your pores for hours.

I'm hispanic as well, I bought a pack of 4 off amazon based on the reviews in this thread, it does smell good as fukk but it made my skin itch so bad I was tossing and turning while sleeping.

Raw black soap from Ghana is the shyt.

That smells SOOOOOOOOO CLEAN!!! Nikka be feeling like an african Mr Clean after using that shyt.

I'm tryna come up on some good ass scents though, a nikka be smelling too normal thesedays. I need a good oil or organic cologne.

i just re-upped on some of this on amazon

i switch between the ghana soap and the dudu. i love the smell of the dudu but i feel like the one from ghana is slightly better in terms of cleaning. no complaints with either though. when i smell that normal soap now all i can smell are chemicals. same thing with lotions once i started using organic coconut oil.

I specifically bought Dudu Osun just because I wanted to support local merchants and I know the soap is not coming out of a factory somewhere. The African market I go to here in NY is in Harlem and theres all kinds of lux condo developments that have popped up all around the market. That market has been around a while and it's just folks with their booths selling soaps, oils, books, clothing, artifacts, etc., so I try to patronize those local businessmen/women.

nah I'm from bk but I'm up that way regularly to go to Amy's and to pick up a butter. you from harlem? u know about those butters?

I stopped using black soap because it tends to "run" after you put it in the soap dish. So you at times need to clean up areas where it can leave stains. And I was ready to switch to somehing else after using black soap for like 7 years. Now I'm using honey oatmeal soap from trader joes.

I'm from the BX but chill in Harlem a lot. I hit Amy Ruth's once in a while but there's a lot of spots to eat and chill out there
