So when did being the best loser become more valuable than winning it all?

I believe thats the narative that the threadstarter is mentioning...

Regardless of how you spin it 3-7 is never better than 6-0

3-4 is 3-4 no voodoo or headless chicken can make it 6-0:mjgrin:

Ya'all realize that no one ever said 3-4 > 6-0, that OP was lying, and that half the thread is just people calling him out on it?

I am literally dumbfounded at this new development on pretty much every basketball message board.

It has pretty much become the consensus opinion that 3-4(7 finals appearances) is a better career achievement than 6-0(6 finals appearances;2 3-peats)

Can some explain why this is?

Do people believe Lebron woul rather be 3-4 vs 4-0?:dwillhuh:

So did Jim Kelly have a better playoff career than Brett Farve?:dwillhuh:

so why Bill Russell ain't the GOAT then?

The real new development is when basketball fans and annalists started to care about finals records. nobody cared about Wilt 2-6 record, or Larry's 3-5 before.
