this is all facts. it's still stupid to assume that kobe wouldnt couldn't have won another ring without the pau trade though. who knows how much quicker marc would have developed practicing with kobe, bynum, odom, phil. who knows what other roster moves the lakers would have made.

kobe fans are intelligent enough to acknowledge that although pau gasol was a great pickup and crucial to their titles

kobe haters are so stupid that they have convinced themselves that pau gasol, a guy who was considered to be on the level of guys like carlos boozer, was the ONLY way the lakers could win a championship

but what do you expect? these are the same shortsighted d*ckheads who refuse to accept the fact that memphis improved as a result of the pau trade

True...might've taken a couple more years and/or some more tweaking to the roster to get what Pau brought specifically as opposed to most big man, but the core was indeed pretty solid aleady:ehh:

I
the only people int he world who would call pau gasol a top 10 big man are people who are trying to discredit kobe.

look at this list

Hakeem Olajuwon
Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Shaq
Wilt Chamberlain
Bill Russell
Tim Duncan
Moses Malone
Karl Malone
Patrick Ewing
David Robinson
Charles Barkley
Kevin Garnett
Dirk Nowitzki
Kevin McHale
Chris Webber

how stupid does it sound to call pau gasol a top 10 big man? @Ben. and anybody else cosigning that silly sh*t :mjlol:
I'm taking pau over Webber and McHale

He made 2 all star teams and 2nd team all NBA in Chicago:francis: and you are giving Bynum credit before Pau:mjlol:

You have terrible comprehension. I'm not giving Bynum more credit, Pau > Bynum. All I stated is his most successful time of his career was with the Lakers. That was due to a good team makeup including important people like Kobe, Bynum, Phil, Lamar. Part of the reason Lakers even won chips was due to the twin towers of Bynum and Pau. His influence is noted but I think it can be overstated. Also All star selections are not the greatest barometer

It wasn't because of fukkin marc gasol was it? That's the point, at that time marc was still overseas i believe, and the lakers got off to a great start and when bynum got hurt wanted to continue to contend for the ring.
now you're playing dumb. Your original point was the Lakers wouldn't have done anything without Pau, as if they were scrubs before . Fact is they were a top two west team

Yeah, i do

Why would it not? :dahell:

I mean assuming bynum stayed healthy
I don't see that happening in 07-08:yeshrug: even though that year was kind of trash for the contenders in the West but Ik for a fact in 09 without Pau that the Nuggets would have beat yal shyt maybe even Houston and Phoenix in 2010 would beat yall too:yeshrug:
