I think we got some pieces they could use.

If they trade with us they get a legit starting QB who can run their WCO right off the bat. How many other of those teams can offer them a starting QB?

alex isnt that much of an upgrade over fez as much as you think

remember theres no harbaugh on the jets, their receiving core and their rbs are some of the worst in the league overall

on other hand, you might remember seattle having matt flynn...

seahags are in better position to make the trade cap wise and player-wise, but they might be hesitant to trade a high pick

point is if Im the jets Id take flynn over alex in hopes of potential.

jets aint goin anywhere anyway, thats part of the reason theyre willing to trade revis.

This is Pete we talking about. That man LOVED stockpiling USC with talent for no reason other than just to have it. Chancellor, Earl, Sherman, Browner, Revis and Trufant as another reserve....that's a frightening fukking thought....and that stockpiling reason is why I don't think he'd give up Flynn so easily.


I think it's not a stretch to say Alex and a 3rd would be enough to get Revis. It'd give the Jets a decent QB for a couple years and another pick to get some depth.

Im pretty sure its a stretch. alex contract isnt great if a team trades for him and a third round pick is pretty low. alex and first rounder tho...not sure if jets can refuse that at all

But to be honest I think the value of the shut down corner has gone down, the Jets played well on pass defense without Revis, Cromartie, stepped up and Kyle Wilson played ok. I wouldn't pay the dude more than 9-10 milly a year, and even to pay him that do we let Parys Haralson walk, do we let Dashon go, do we trade Ahmad Brooks, one or two good players, are going to have to leave to accommodate him.

That's not true. The numbers on pass D looked good because their run D was garbage.

Hell, other than Mark, the Jets lost a couple of games because all teams would do is pick on Kyle Wilson.

I'm gonna say none and throw Jacksonville in the mix. They don't have many players to trade but they will have some early picks, to trade and money to pay him what he wants. I don't want San Fran to sacrifice that much to get him, we have good depth at CB and I would rather draft one early than pay for a guy who may or may not be diminished and lose valuable picks.

I don't want a starting QB next season. I want Fez in there. Fez is our main ticket to Bridgewater or Manziel. There isn't another QB out there than we can get that can win us a Superbowl than those 2.

Why would u trade him just because of a acl injury? I know this is a dumb question but it really isn't after the season the beast running back ad aka ap28 just had.. Science and the training staffs can and will make these dudes stronger and faster the Before..
