If Goldberg shows up tomorrow night, then it will have served its purpose (though using your 2nd biggest show's main event as a way to build to something else

Punk regressed after facing Lesnar too. He was facing Curtis Axel and Paul Heyman in handicap matches at PPVs but he recovered MONTHS later. Same for Ambrose. It took months for him to recover.
Well they have booked Brock to be this well no pun intended but beast, so it does kind of make sense that if you lose to Brock Lesnar you would regress. I don't have the answers tbh this is all creative's problem at the end of the day.

NO ONE is going to beat him. He's a booking dead end. When you face Brock, your character will regress and you'll lose any and all momentum.

Even if no one cares by the time it finally happens, someone will eventually -- that's how/why this run started in the first place and it's a basic tenet of pro wrestling. It's not like Brock gives a shyt so long as he gets paid and they don't ask him to do it during hunting season.

The problem is them finding that guy, not backing down from following through with that guy, and the filler like this Orton trash we keep getting in the mean.
