Great question. Cube pretty much birthed a coast. Didn't create gangsta rap, but was the first real star to bring it to the masses. Made Eazy E and Dre both stars. Created a lane for writing your own films, and starring in films as a rapper first(first group of rappers with LL, Pac, Latifah)

But Jay took the game and strapped it to his back once Big and Pac died. He brought the East Coast back to relevancy. Had one of the longest runs. Amassed more cash then others. Partial team owner. Owned his label. Became president of Def Jam. Gave us Rihanna, Kanye. Jay was also kind of one of the first "Adult" rappers. He sounded wiser then his years.

I have to go with Jay, but Cube's accomplishments are no small feat. He should get 2 inductions into both RnR and Hip Hop hall of fames
