....I hate even givin Jeezy or T.I credit bcuz overall that "lane" is pretty damn horrible 9 times outta 10....but Jeezy the reason for that lane,T.I responsible for the word "trap" and responsible for the title of the lane...trap rap is coke all the time,drug themed mixtapes etc,alotta times sound like one long song about slanging with hardly any substance....how the hell y'all puttin Trap Muzic is the blueprint for that
...Trap Muzic is a throwback,and even tho its a throwback it don't even break down the dope game all that much to be honest if u think about it.
T.I's album wuz in the same vein as classics like Federal,his album didn't change nuthin in that regards besides nikkas started usin the word trap more....Jeezy is the one who changed the entire sound of southern music,suddenly them southern boys ain't wanna rap over them happy bounce beats no more and wanted nuthin but dark,heavy on the bass,scary soundin beats that made Jeezy famous.....Jeezy is the reason for "trap music" being a damn genre now....a lane had to be created for slow rappin dudes who largley couldn't rap that rapped over those type of beats,and ain't talk about shyt but drug shipments.
