i mean wtf....i got ppl in my family still preaching college even tho it didn't work for 2 generations ..... i think baby boomers are retards, i mean, try having a convo with them, they live in a damn fantasy world...and ppl our age ate 10 times more aware about the reality of the world....
It worked for me :manny:

My money long and my non-college educated family and friends are struggling or working warehouse type jobs

College is only a scam if you go and expect everything to be handed to you.

Mine was a dope ass school and affordable

Most importantly it got me out the hood and I GREW AS PERSON so much.i saw different people, perspectives and how the world works

to be honest i feel like you need college to be a well rounded individual

not just because of the books you read but because of the intangibles like learning to network and finesse multiple deadlines

then if you're going to an HBCU learning your history is also very important

Depends on your goals. If you want a GOOD JOB, college is a decent route. Without a scholarship, it's gonna cost a brick, but it's a decent route.

Right now, I'm workin' on not needin' a job. If I had it to do over again, I'm not sure I'd go the college route. If I did, I'd major in some combination of finance, economics & entrepreneurialism. But I think there are quicker, cheaper & more efficient ways to become independently wealthy, which is my goal.

Get any type of STEM(math and medical) degree and your career choices are endless.
Exactly and if you're going for a so called bs degree (like I'm sure many people will say my Industrial Design degree is bs), you make connections. Especially if you're in a research university and have professors who actually have worked or currently work in the field they teach. I know and have talked to a guy that works in Volition (the company that made Saints Row) and he's currently helping me build up my portfolio to a professional level so that I can get a job in game design and my professors are also helping me build up my skills and portfolio.
