You're smarter than this. What other team outside of maybe Houston has a DL that can dominate the Chiefs OL that easily while only sending 4. The LBs dropping back wasn't the problem. It was the DL getting there so quick it didn't leave time for WRs to settle into holes in the zone.

If the stat is correct, Philly did NOT blitz Mahomes a single time in that game. That's an insane stat and sounds like they were absolutely trying to send a message.

The Chiefs live on receivers being wide open over the middle and on the hashes BECAUSE the LBs take themselves out of plays by sending 6 or 7 guys on a blitz.

Everyone doesn't have Philly D-line talent, but I think most teams would fare better blitzing them less.

What happened was the DT’s/DE’s washed a busted “Tackle” duo and just disrupted all types of shyt. At the end of the day, you can’t polish a turd and some situations are just not your day to overcome.

Yup and that's why this game scared the shyt out of me. We all know the Chiefs O-line issues all year combined with the Eagles having a crazy front 4. The other issue was that the Chiefs outside of a few games struggled badly in getting pressure on the QB. They had to overly rely on the blitz but didn't have the CB play of previous years to be able to get away with blitzing so heavily.

Yeah, that’s what I felt as well. I still thought the Chiefs would win, but not easy.

Those Philly and Detroit OL’s can really control a game if your team’s OL is messing up your offense’s rhythm.

It aint rocket science...if you can get constant pressure with 4 the QB is in for a long day. The Eagles were just specifically suited on both sides of the ball to beat KC . If other teams could do the same, KC wouldnt have been there in the first place.
