You CANNOT pick someone like Aj Styles. Styles is 40 years old, and probably 5 good years left. Roman is 32 8 years younger, and has been established for years, even before this never ending mega singles push. His Shield run cemented him as a Star.

I like Braun he's probably the most exciting guy on RAW but he's a monster, they're made to be beaten and create new baby face stars. Who could be the top baby face for years to come that they already have if not Roman?

Even though I'm skeptical of him I'd say Finn Balor is the closest. He's over enough, easy to merchandise. Has hardcore, women, and children among his fans.

He's only 29(!!!), pretty over for a guy who hasn't really been given much to do since the call up, and looks physically imposing. He has a lot of untapped potential.

Others already said it, but what makes the most sense is multiple wrestlers at the helm. New Day, Sasha, the Usos, & Braun all have characters that if pushed correctly, are top of the company material. They just need younger, more sane and in tune with today's world writers to take em over the top, and a new leader to "OK" it.

Because WWE would then have even more control over these guys then before.

Triple H wants this. He has said before, he never wants there to be another guy, because the WWE should be bigger then one guy.

All the boom periods in wrestling have had one guy that transcends the business. It draws in the casual fans.

Casual fans of any sport/movie go to these types of things to see 1 person. That's how people become movie stars. CACs go to movies just to see someone like Matt Damon in anything. "Let's go see that new Matt Damon movie," they say. They don't say lets go see the Martian" The Star becomes the selling point.

This is how wrestling has been, is and should be.
