The bold is why I recommend the PS4 over the Xbox One to anybody. If you're only buying one system unless you're a diehard Halo or Gears fan the PS4 is more superior hardware at a cheaper cost and 90% of the library of these systems will be third party cross-platform games. Why pay more to play mostly the same games? If all you play are cross-platform games, then the PS4 will give you better looking titles at a lower console cost. For those of you that are particularly bothered by aliasing, the PS4 will definitely reduce (not eliminate) that. However I would argue that if all you play are cross-platform games then you might want to look into buying/building a PC instead. I’m also unsure about how much cross shopping actually happens between these two platforms. I can understand for first time gamers (e.g. parents buying the first console for their kids), but otherwise I feel like your friend group and prior experience is going to ultimately determine whether you end up with a Xbox One or PS4.

All that TV feature garbage is worthless. Come to find out the Xbox One TV features don't even support DVR functions so you'll have to use a different remote anyway for that. comparing a game console to a game console its hard to justify the Xbox One's premium price for inferior hardware.
are you buying an X1 for?Once again its your opinion, It just depends on what the person wants. For instance my uncle is going to buy the X1 because he likes the media features and his son can play his video games. Now if a person just want a upgraded game system and if non of the X1 exclusive is appealing yes I tell them to get the PS4 but I least I give them choice when I give info. The bold is why I recommend the PS4 over the Xbox One to anybody. because I have the disposable income and that 10% of games that are different is worth the cost of admission to me. I want the option to play any game on any platform. Its why I have a gaming PC, 3DS, Vita, Wii U, Wii, 360, PS3, PS4 and soon an Xbox One.are you buying an X1 for?
what are the media features? he can plug his cable box that already works into the back of his Xbox One? The media features is just a company using marketing spin to convince you that you're getting value in something you already own and are paying for.Once again its your opinion, It just depends on what the person wants. Blah blah blah blah blah. This doesn't even warrant a decent response.what are the media features? he can plug his cable box that already works into the back of his Xbox One? basically they're like well let you plug your already working cable box you pay your cable provider for in out box and you can watch your cable box through our box. dog that's fukking nothing.
I'm paying $100 more for an extra HDMI port? Its the middle man for my TV and cable box they both don't need.Blah blah blah blah blah. This doesn't even warrant a decent response.
