This is what happens when Apple and Tidal try to control the charts instead of letting music naturally flow.

Yup. all of these "exclusives" gotta stop. Only one playing the game smart is Drake with his Apple deal because they can afford him and still make a ton of $ back on phones and shyt. But now when a record drops you gotta make sure it's on the damn service you're subscribe to. fukk that. Better of hitting up your preferred file sharing service and getting the album when it leaks

he went plat, ok, but his music ain't gettin' the play usually do when he drop

i know the radio and the be all and end all like it use too, but it still goes to show you who hot and who not to some degree

y'all young nikkas to hung up on sales. a nikka can still sell but out the gate if he already has assembled a followin' but once the music is bought and the fans may or may not be satisfied they move on and that's what feels like is happenin'

y'all young nikkas rely on sales far too much. got news for you lil nikka, vanilla ice sold too but where the fukk is he and his music now? :mjlol:

u said Drake albums came and went.. u didn't talk about the quality of it

Why would the most valuable corporation risk their credibility and legal problems for fukking Drake? Apple Music is just a fart in their balance sheet.

He has been #1 on Apples competitors for as long. Why would they help Apple :ld:

Well, Apple is where I first heard that underwhelming album. Plus, Drake is one of the biggest artists today, so what is the risk?

Hip hop needs to learn from Adele, Jay Z, Nas, The Weeknd.

Don't put out 800 songs a year!!! Take a year off and Barey release music or just tour. Let that shyt bubble. Don't do 150 interviews talking about your upcoming album. Be mysterious different and not available all the time.

Look at Weeknd--don't even like dudes music, but he put his shyt out damn near anonymously and didn't do any interviews etc. and had people fiending for anything about him. 4 ish years later dude had 3 top 10 billboard songs in a year.
Part of the reason Michael Jackson was so huge in the 80's & 90's. We only saw or heard from him a few times a year, and he only released albums around every 5 years. And when his videos and singles did drop they were events

u said it came and went when it clearly didn't since its still #1 on billboard and it has the #1 single in the country

formation was kinda hot too; and i ain't even a beyonce fan but that shyt was nice
