bro just do it, just isolate yourself temporarily then tap into some lonesome blues and find a vocalist who just wants to participate.

if you were a guy that could write raps or keystyle like we used to call it, then you can write songs its less words than a rap but more emphasis on each words meaning.

here is my second verse (she sings it) ... shes got the rhythm and melody slightly off but she was good on the chorus :

now i am grateful for her but i think i need a more modern singer shes a bit cabaret and theres a space for that but not this record.

i would love norah jones whisperey vocals to deliver a joint like this, even though its a mans record. i needed someone who could sing to make the new reference tracks.

heres the OG i butchered my words, not the melody though or rhythm its meant to be a disco/RnB upbeat number therefore the vocal delivery has to be quicker on tempo.

the radio and playlists are filled with songs about money, partying and sex ... the love songs are lust songs no one cares for that outside perverts.

you got to get at the emotion for sure.

Realize the visualizm:

Dark, smoky Jazz club with tables and seats. Small stage with a 3 piece, lady dressed in a gown singing cradling one of those old school mics. Lots of tracking shots and reactions of couples in the audience jamming to the beat.

The production is built around live drums with a very slippery hi hat that plays hide and seek over the rhythm, throw in a brass for some trumpet hits and a fat, rolling bass guitar and its a hit.

Picture perfect, I paint a perfect picture.
