I'm not big on social media at all outside of YouTube and even then in the past few years I have only watched certain content on YouTube.

Stuff like comedy, pranks, video games, beauty, most subscribed YouTubers etc I stopped watching years ago.

Something that has been around for many years but is getting bigger and bigger are people doing vlogs (video logs) about what they do every day. Vlog channels used to be secondary to someone's main channel where they made videos on comedy, beauty, video games etc.. but now it's become a main channel thing.

To me it's kind of weird to just perpetually watch people do things that you want to do while at the same time making no moves to get where they are.

I feel like in the not so distant future people will stay in their homes nearly 24/7 and just watch other people doing shyt on a screen.

It's already happening to an extent.
