Are you unhappy while you're on the phone?

I was saying that, while I think that's fukked up to be on the cellphone while on parties etc. I myself do this sometimes.

Well, to aswer you, usually when I found myself in some akward situation while socializing I go check my messages etc on the phone.

I just went to Deltopia in Santa Barbara for 3 days. My friends decided to make everybody turn off their phones and say, "what happens in SB, STAYS IN SB." I miss buddah,...first club ever worth twenty dollars and real talk.
None of these clubs at worth twenty dollars and it is so bad now.

Social media has ruined a lot of stuff. The other night me and my girl went out to eat and her silly ass was taking pictures of the food and posting it on instagram and Facebook talking about "me and the boo having dinner." I was like we're at Olive Garden not some five star restaurant .

I went to a wedding last year and at the reception almost everyone was more interested in taking pictures and posting them on instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. Hardly anyone was dancing or anything just posting shyt on social media and browsing their time line. Most of the time you can't even carry on a conversation without them checking their phone.

Which suggests that the available activities were prioritized over phones, if people are more interested in being on a phone than the party, maybe the party isn't all that fun. People have a tendency to believe that others should naturally enjoy the things they enjoy which is silly. "How could you NOT find this party to be fun when I'm having such a great time"?

When people find themselves in awkward or uncomfortable situations, they don't want continue experiencing those situations and cellphones are a great temporary escape.
