You're talking about the top 5-10%. Your average Joe who's social would be in way better position if they had a mathematical background.


Math gets your foot in the door, social skills helps with breakthru in upper tiers

Social skills can take you places. You may have to prove that you belong in those places afterward but social skills will at least get you in the door.
